Paid Search Campaign Strategist

As part of the Digital & eCommerce team, you will join a team that creates digital experiences that customers love and trust. SkyTOP is in the midst of shifting to an in-house to manage online advertising. This is an exciting time for you to jump in and help shape the future of this team. We are looking for a true digital rockstar that will be instrumental in driving the Paid Media program forward, specifically for Paid Search. You will be responsible for coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to manage SkyTOP’s paid search campaigns (including Google and Bing, Yahoo, etc).  You will work closely with industry marketing, web analytics, finance, digital marketing, field marketing, local marketing groups and other business partners.


  1. Manage the day to day paid search campaigns across Google, Bing, and other engines
  2. Develop media plan and execute strategy
  3. Work with internal and external partners to review paid media brief and get sign off
  4. Work with internal partners to identify and confirm Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  5. Optimize campaigns based on the identified KPIs
  6. Adapt media plan and media brief into a Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Strategy
  7. Meet with Google and other publishers to help identify optimization opportunities and industry trends
  8. Conduct keyword research and develop ad copy for AdWords and Bing Ads
  9. Build SEM strategy around sitelinks, account structure, hierarchy, spend estimates, etc
  10. Work with internal partners to obtain appropriate assets for campaign execution
  11. Responsible for day to day campaign execution and optimization for SEM advertising campaigns
  12. Act as main point of contact for internal campaign owners
  13. Work with Digital Sales Executives to provide appropriate reports for stakeholders
  14. Interpret campaign performance and provide insightful analysis
  15. Coordinate regular reporting and planning meetings with stakeholders
  16. Conduct competitive SEM audits for industry and products supported
  17. Work with optimization teams, web designers and campaign owners for landing page testing
  18. Draw relevant search materials from other customer research resources, including social media listening tools, marketing intelligence reports, and more
  19. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to convey complex information in a polished, clear, concise, and professional manner
  20. Build multi-channel strategies to form cohesive campaigns with other teams
  21. Ability to work in a team environment and successfully build professional relationships inside and outside of SkyTOP Technologies
  22. Other responsibilities as will be assigned from time to time

Minimum Qualifications         

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  2. 5+ years of experience with at least 3 years in online marketing, ideally in enterprise level SEM and/or agency
  3. Experience in Pay Per Click (PPC) and Search Advertising campaign management on Google & Bing and strategy
  4. Experience managing projects and working with cross functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience with keyword analysis, keyword research tools
  2. Familiarity with reporting/tracking tools (Adobe Analytics/Google Analytics/Marin)
  3. Individual must be highly organized and self-starting
  4. Team-oriented; professional and cooperative attitude
  5. Familiarity with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and commonly used web browsers
  6. Experience working with bid management solutions
  7. Google AdWords Certified would be an added advantage
